The hostess stated they were having trouble with google(?) which was clearly not MY problem, but they took us off the waitlist anyways, plus, our group of 5 (4 adults, 1 kid) were sitting in front of the hostess’s station the whole time, none of them had common courtesy to ask us our group name, and how long we had been waiting. Wrong! 30+min had went by, I asked the hostess this time, they had taken our name off the waitlist! The hostess told me a text was sent, but I did not receive one. My husband asked the hostess, she insisted 15 min we would be seated.
We had no problem with this until we began noticing we had been waiting awhile and other groups that came in after us were being seated. I received a text saying we were on the wait list. Some restaurants note pertinent updates on their Facebook and/or Instagram pages and not their website, while others do the reverse.
